Hopkins Center for Health Disparities Solutions (HCHDS)

The Summer Internship program at the Hopkins Center for Health Disparities Solutions (HCHDS) accepts students from the Diversity Summer Internship Program at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and students from the Center for Diversity in Public Health Leadership Training at the Kennedy Krieger Institute. The eight-week summer program enables minority high school and undergraduate students to participate in research and academic activities, as well as receive mentoring. At the end of the eight weeks, each student produces a technical report that summarizes his/her summer experience. The HCHDS collaborates with the Center for Diversity in Public Health Leadership Training at the Kennedy Krieger Institute, which offers four funded summer internship programs.
